How does a senior session work?

Being a senior is a HUGE accomplishment! It's definitely worth celebrating with a fabulous photo shoot before you venture into adulthood! I love to meet with seniors and come up with a game plan before the shoot. It gives us time to sit and chat, have some snacks, and discuss your style and what you want out of your senior session. Every senior is unique and it's fun to cater the shoot toward your interests and style! In our consultation, we can discuss what you'd like to wear or where you'd like to shoot and all the details in between.

What do I need to wear?

We will discuss that in our consultation and I'll be glad to show you some examples of what style of clothing works well in each location. Do you love the vibrant colors of fall? Then let's schedule your shoot for then and coordinate your clothing with oranges, yellows, reds, or browns! The guide below was created by another photographer with awesome tips on clothing. Most seniors bring more than they need to their session-extra shirts, jewelry, shoes, etc-then we narrow down as we go through your session and pick what works best!

Do I need to bring props?

You are more than welcome to bring props! They tell the story of YOU! Do you play a guitar? Let's incorporate it into a cool setting to showcase your talent! Play a sport? Bring your gear and let us show off your skills. Let's make your session unique!

Will I get to share my photos to my friends?

I love letting you share your photos with your friends! I'll put up some sneak peeks on Facebook and Instagram if you'd like. Then you have the choice to buy digitals or prints. If you choose to purchase prints, you still get a low-resolution file to share on social media. It's not big enough to print, but looks great to share with everyone online so they can share in your excitement over your senior year!
